Gilbert Melendez wants a rematch and if the lightweight division wasn’t so stacked, he’d get it. Gilbert is open to fighting pretty much anyone that will get him a new title shot if beaten. I believe Gilbert will get another title shot, he needs 2 fights, 2 convincing victories to get himself in position to get another shot.
Good thing about Gilbert Melendez is, if you need someone to put on a good fight and win convincingly, he’s your man. You can bank on him, he fights, entertains fans and best of all, he finishes… and finishers get title shots in the UFC.
Hopefully Gilbert gets his couple of fights quick. I definitely want to see him in a title fight as soon as possible.
