WWE WrestleMania 34 matches
Universal Championship — Brock Lesnar (c) vs. Roman Reigns
365 days, that’s how far in advance we’ve known about this match. It’s also how long we’ve known what the result is going to be, unless Vince decides to do a last minute swerve, only to have Roman win the title the next night, which I doubt will be the case. This doesn’t mean that this match isn’t worth the watch. It’s bound to be a barn burner, as good old J.R. would say.
WWE Championship — AJ Styles (c) vs. Shinsuke Nakamura
A WWE dream match comes to life. This is proof of how much the WWE has changed its perception of so-called “indie wrestlers”. 2 men who have had amazing careers outside of WWE and who already had a 5-star match outside WWE will lock horns in the biggest show of the year and go for a repeat of a classic. This is wrestling must-see TV at its finest.
Ronda Rousey & Kurt Angle vs. Stephanie McMahon & Triple H
WWE is promoting the Mixed Match Challenge hard. This is why Ronda Rousey in a WWE ring.
Daniel Bryan & Shane McMahon vs. Kevin Owens & Sami Zayn
Owens and Zayn are fired from SmackDown and are now fighting for the right to get rehired after beating up Shane McMahon and Daniel Bryan. Owens and Zayn will be reinstated if they win or remain fired if they lose.
SmackDown Women’s Championship — Charlotte Flair (c) vs. Asuka
Asuka continuing her undefeated streak by beating Flair would be the way to go if you ask me. Carmella cashing in her Money In The Bank briefcase and immediately beating Asuka to become Smackdown Women’s Champion at WrestleMania would be even better.
Raw Women’s Championship — Alexa Bliss (c) vs. Nia Jax
Little Miss Bliss managed to create a big-time enemy out of real-life best friend Nia Jax by using and manipulating her to do what she wanted. Bliss should find a way to leave the ring with the championship still around her waist… Mickie James can be the one that makes it happen.
Intercontinental Championship — The Miz (c) vs. Seth Rollins vs. Finn Balor
This should be a very good and fun to watch match. Will The Miz keep his title? Will Finn bring some hardware back to the OG BC crew? Or will the architect burn it down on his way to becoming champion? I know I’ll be paying attention to this one!
United States Championship — Randy Orton (c) vs. Bobby Roode vs. Jinder Mahal vs. Rusev
Didn’t care about this match until we were all informed that it was being held on Rusev Day! Now it’s become must-see! If Rusev wins, the crowd will. go. nuts.
SmackDown Tag Team Championship — The Usos (c) vs. The New Day vs. The Bludgeon Brothers
This is a candidate for match-of-the-night with the Bludgeon Brothers getting involved in this feud. This could very well be the match that sets the tone for the night.
